Process Water Treatment
SKion Water provides state-of-art patented technology for the laundry and textile industry. We combine systems for treatment using biological and physio-chemical processes, as well as membrane technology.
It often makes sense to treat partial flows of process water to efficiently obtain resources from the process water or save energy. Operating costs are reduced in this way as on-site treatment with smaller systems is usually more efficient and resource-saving.
Washing laundry and textiles produces heavily polluted and greasy wastewater. Our wastewater treatment applications reduce freshwater consumption and minimize the volume of residuals.
We have developed a low-cost, easy-to-operate and robust ultrafiltration technology with ceramic membranes which can treat heavily polluted wastewater. We also supply flotation units for less polluted wastewater. Our solutions have a small footprint and low operating cost.
Treating process water and wastewater to enable water reuse is becoming increasingly important within the textile and laundry industry. We specialize in constructing state-of-the-art wastewater recycling plants to enable our customers to reuse water at all stages of production.
Our state-of-the-art biological units, with submerged ultrafiltration membranes and reverse osmosis systems, treat and recycle water reliably and safely. More advanced recycling with difficult effluents is achieved through nanofiltration so that wastewater can be recycled to a quality suitable for the entire washing process.
