Strategic partnership with Curio Water to bring Roturi® ozonation technology to UK and Ireland

Curio Water has announced a strategic partnership with SKion Water and up2e! to bring its Roturi® ozonation technology to the United Kingdom and Ireland as it plans to advance its micropollutant removal systems for the UK market.  

The Roturi® system is an innovative inline gas transfer solution from Germany designed to efficiently dissolve gases like ozone directly into liquid streams. Unlike traditional gas-mass-transfer technologies that rely on high pressure velocity differences, or large reaction basins, Roturi® uses its innovative and compact design to create a large reaction surface and achieve finely dispersed gas dissolution within the main pipeline. This results in highly efficient transfer with significantly lower energy demand and reduced gas consumption. Roturis® can be integrated into existing systems or retrofitted, making them ideal for companies looking to tackle micropollutants at water treatment sites across the UK.

This collaboration will enable Curio to become the sole trading partner for Roturi®-based ozonisation technology in the UK and Ireland. Under the agreement, Curio will oversee testing, demonstration, and deployment of Roturi® technology in projects, supported by up2e!’s technical expertise and SKion Water’s global network.
