SKion Water sponsors European start-up competition for water innovation

As part of the 3rd Water JPI Conference, the JUNIOR WATER JUMP Award was presented for the first time to start-ups in the water sector on 17.11.2021. SKion Water sponsors the award (€13,000) together with Rheinisch Westfälische Wasserwerksgesellschaft (RWW). The competition enables entrepreneurs from start-ups in the European water sector to present themselves and their ideas to a high-ranking jury.

Two winners ultimately emerged from the group of finalists from five nations. The winner of the JUNIOR WATER JUMP Award is Resistomap from Finland; the runner-up is ColFerroX from Mülheim an der Ruhr (Germany). Isle Utilities awarded an additional prize in the form of business coaching.

The conference was hosted and organized by the IWW Zentrum Wasser, with support from RWW, and funding from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
