1 Information about the collection of personal data / purpose

Below we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is any data that refers to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior.

1.2 When you contact us by e-mail or through a contact form, the information you provide (your e-mail address, your name and telephone number if applicable) will be stored by us to answer your questions. We delete the data that arises in this context after the storage is no longer required, or limit the processing if there are statutory retention requirements.

3 Collection of personal data when visiting our website

3.1 In the case of using this website for information purposes, e.g. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website and to ensure the stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 GDPR ):

• date and time of the request;
• time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT);
• content of the request (exact page);
• access status / HTTP status code;
• each transmitted amount of data;
• website from which the request originated;
• browser;
• operating system and its interface;
• language and version of the browser software.

3.2 In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive assigned to the browser you are using and that provide certain information to the body that sets the cookie (here, through us). Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make our Internet offer more user-friendly and effective.

3.3 Use of cookies

This website uses so-called necessary, transient cookies, which are necessary for the basic functions of the website.
Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include in particular session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joined session. This will allow your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

Furthermore, we use Piwik PRO Analytics Suite (PIWIK) as our website analytics software and consent management tool. We collect data about website visitors based on cookies in order to improve the content of our website and to understand better what content is of most interest. We calculate metrics like bounce rate, page views, sessions and the like to understand how our website is used. It may also create visitors’ profiles based on browsing history to analyze visitor behavior.

The solution is hosted in Europe, and the data is stored for 25 months.

The purpose of data processing: analytics and conversion tracking based on consent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR.

4 Opposition or revocation to the processing of your data

4.1 If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you can revoke them at any time. Such revocation will affect the admissibility of processing of your personal data after you have revoked.

4.2 Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on the balance of interests, you may object to the processing. This is the case if, in particular, the processing is not required to fulfill a contract with you, which we describe in each case in the following description of the functions. In the case of your justified objection, we will examine the situation and will either discontinue or adapt the data processing or point out to you our compelling legitimate reasons on which we continue the processing.
